I have a deep appreciation for the power of information and data and its potential to drive insights and innovation. I am passionate about creating a data use culture where others can access and use data to create positive change as they make decisions.
Prior to joining Cooper/Smith, I supported portfolio and performance management at USAID. In that role, I worked with the E3 Bureau to develop Office-level strategies and key performance indicators. Prior to that, I worked in a variety of roles at International Medical Corps (IMC), an emergency response and disaster relief organization. Here I managed daily operations of a $70 million humanitarian relief and development portfolio across seven countries, including the development of program initiatives. Additionally, I provided technical monitoring and evaluation support to projects in nine countries. My work focused on processes for routine data collection, compilation, analysis and use of data to orient programming for donors such as DFID, ECHO, OFDA, PRM, the UN, USAID, and private donors across programmatic sectors such as gender based violence, health systems strengthening, maternal and child health, mental health and psychosocial support, nutrition, primary health care, sexual and reproductive health, and WASH. My M&E support was provided throughout the project management cycle, including support for needs assessments, project design, monitoring, evaluations, and knowledge management. I also focused on designing and rolling-out information systems at the project, country and global levels, including the adoption of standardized indicators across countries to collect meaningful data at the global level.
I obtained an MPH from the George Washington University and a BS in Psychology from Utah Valley University.
